

Mariolyn obtained her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery degree with Honors from Monash University in Melbourne in 2002. Throughout her undergraduate medical career, she received numerous prizes for academic achievement.
Mariolyn obtained her Fellowship in Urology from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.
She has undertaken surgical training both within Australia and internationally at St Thomas’ & King’s College London, as well as training in both laparoscopic surgery and robotics in Taiwan, Italy and the United States.
She is a Fellow of the Urological Society of Australasia, the American Urological Association, and has membership of The British Urological Society and International Continence Society.
She currently holds Consultant Urologist positions at both public & private hospitals including: Epworth, Freemasons, St Vincent’s Private & Werribee Mercy Hospital. Dr Raj operates regularily at all of these hospitals”
Dr Raj is a passionate advocate for the maintenance of the highest standards of surgical care for patients & is actively involved in surgical education & training & clinical research.
Dr Raj holds the following committee positions:
- National Chair of the Early Managment of Severe Trauma Committee
- Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Court of Examiners
- Member of the Victorian Regional State Surgery Committee
- Member of the Western Health Drug & Therapeutics Committee
- Member of the Victoria Audit of Surgical Mortality ( VASM) Committee

- Renal and Ureteric stone disease: Laser Fragmentation, Extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), PCNL
Prostate Cancer- PSA evaluation, diagnosis: transperienal prostate biopsy, MRI scan and treatment
Benign Prostate Enlargement: TURP, Green Light Laser surgery, Urolift Insertion
Kidney Cancer and Upper Renal Tract Cancer- Laparoscopic (keyhole)Surgery
Hematuria – diagnosis: cystoscopy and treatment
Overactive Bladder – Urodynamics testing and Bladder Botox Injections
